Share your talents with fellow community members and promote Greenville’s premier professional dance company! You can make a difference by supporting a commitment to the Arts. Carolina Ballet Theatre’s family extends beyond the stage to include a large community of dedicated volunteers. An integral part of this community is the CBT Guild. The primary focus of the CBT Guild is to offer support to the academic programs, special projects, fundraisers, and performances of Carolina Ballet Theatre. The Guild provides many hours of volunteer service working backstage during productions, hosting cast parties, and managing special events. By joining the Guild, you can be a part of this fun, energetic and dedicated group of parents and friends committed to supporting Carolina Ballet Theatre. Whatever your talents and interests, the Guild has a place for you!

Membership Requirements

  • Join at least 1 committee
  • Attend at least 2 meetings per season

Volunteers Needed For:

CBT Boutique: Helps with the organization and sales of CBT boutique merchandise Hospitality: Help provide refreshments for the artistic team during long rehearsal days and other hospitality needs T-shirt ordering and distribution: Helps sort and distribute t-shirt orders before CBT performances Creating Baskets for Professional Dancers: Help create gift baskets for the professionals to have during the CBT performances Flowers: Helps organize the purchasing and delivery of flowers for the professional dancers for performances Guild Gala: Helps plan the annual Guild Gala Silent Auction: Helps plan, gather, and organize items for the silent auction at the annual Guild Gala Backstage: Help assist dancers backstage with costumes, makeup, and more Dancer check-in and release: Helps to check-in dancers at weekly rehearsals Poster distribution: Help distribute posters around the upstate area to spread the word for CBT productions.
